Emergency Backup is a unique alter that may look like multiple fragments. Emergency Backup fronts whenever a situation arises that the brain feels nobody else is equipped to handle (most often after a rapid switch episode). Emergency Backup then fronts with only the memories necessary to deal with the situation, and may not even be aware of who they are and might think they are someone else. They then handle the situation and leave the front. The memories of what happen get dumped into the memory storage and then the memory keepers can go over it. If a specific situation happens twice that calls Emergency Backup to the front, they may remember the previous situation. However if the situation happens enough a new alter will probably form based on how Emergency Backup handled the situation.
